monday montage

It’s time for another edition of the Monday Montage Blog Hop!

I’m really excited to share this scrapbook page with you. I LOVE how it turned out!

Peachy Keen

This page features the Peachy Keen stamp set and the coordinating framelits named On Film. I also used Gorgeous Grunge to stamp the background of the page. Then I added some Retro Fresh Washi Tape at the bottom of the page.  If you look closely, you will notice a designer button. I created this button by adding washi tape to a Basic Metal Button and threaded Whisper White Baker’s Twine through it. I finished the page off by stitching around it with my sewing machine.

Thanks for stopping by, and remember to continue the hop just click back or next.

Welcome to the Monday Montage Blog Hop!

Good Times MDS

Today I’m sharing a scrapbook page I created in My Digital Studio.  This winter has been unusually cold here in Texas, and I was dreaming of summer when I created this page.  Anyone else ready for sunshine and warm weather?

The pictures featured on this page are of my sister during our trip to the beach last May. Polaroids are really popular right now so I chose to create polaroid frames for each of the pictures.  I mainly used images from the Hello There Kit as well as stamps from Chevron Punch Kit.

Thanks for joining me Day 4 of the 2013 Artisan Finalist Blog Hop.  I’m excited to share another scrapbook page with you today.

This 12×12 layout was made in My Digital Studio using the You’re My Sunshine Digital Kit.  The layout was one of the quickest projects I made to enter for Artisan.  The kit made it so easy to pick out coordinating dsp to use.  My best friend, Cady and her husband, Cooper are my subjects here. These are some of the pictures they took during their engagement.

2013 Artisan Finalist Blog Hop – Day 3

» 12 August, 2013 » Artisan, Scrapbooking » 0 comments

It’s Day 3 of the 2013 Artisan Finalist Blog Hop.

Today I’m sharing an 8×8 scrapbook page.  This page features the daughters of one of my sweet customer friends.  Doesn’t she take great photos!  I just love how she captured such  a precious moment.

2013 Artisan Finalist Blog Hop

I decided to use the Core’dinations card stock for the background in Primrose Petals.  I used the Borders Scoring Plate to add some texture at the bottom of the layout.  Then I sanded the border and various areas of the page to give it a distressed look.  The flowers are from the Secret Garden stamp set. Then I added accessories from the Artisan Embellishments Kit.

This was page was one of my last minute projects to finish before it had to be mailed off, so in the rush to get all the pictures taken I forgot to get one of the journaling.  Basically, I cut the mat for the picture twice the size that I needed, and I folded it to create a hidden journaling section.

Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to check out everyone else’s projects for the day.
