12 Days of Christmas in August: Day 5 Greetings of the Season Card

It’s Day 5 of 12 Days of Christmas in August.  I used the Greetings of the Season stamp set.  I also used the Lacy Brocade embossing folder and Cherry Cobbler Core’dinations Card Stock, both of which are now available in the Holiday Catalog.  The sentiment was embossed using silver embossing powder.

It’s day 4 of 12 Days of Christmas in August.  This is a hot cocoa pouch made from an envelope.  I used the stamp set No Peeking on pouch on the right, and I used Stylin’ Snowfolk for the pouch on the left.

I finally have the envelope pouch video tutorial posted as promised.  I apologize for such a long wait.  I had intended to upload it yesterday, however I was involved in an accident, so needless to say I was a bit preoccupied.  No one was injured, but my car is totaled. 🙁

It’s day 2 of 12 Days of Christmas in August.  I’m really excited to share today’s project with you.  It’s an envelope pouch.  It’s a square envelope that is 1/4” thick to allow enough space for small gifts and candy.

I used the set Owl Occasions for the front of the envelope.  I also used the set Mixed Medley Hostess Set for the closure on the back.

The envelope is made from a 7” x 7” piece of cardstock.  I used the Diagonal Plate and Simpy Scored Tool.  I scored each side at 3” and 3 1/2” to create the envelope.  Check back early next week for the video tutorial.

Welcome to Day 1 of 12 Days of Christmas in August.  Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday, and I thought August would be the perfect time to show some great holiday projects.  After all, Christmas will be here before you know it.

I used the set First Christmas for the manger and star images. The Merry Christmas sentiment is from the set More Merry Messages.
