Welcome back to the Monday Montage blog hop! I’m excited to share a quick card with you. This card features the Eastern Elegance DSP that is retiring very soon. It’s one of my favorites, and I will definitely miss this DSP when it retires.

It’s time for another round of the Monday Montage blog hop!  Today I have an adorable birthday card to share that we recently made at my Birthday Stamp-A-Stack Class.

Build A Cupcake

Making the tag featured on the card was very simple with the Angled Tag Topper punch.  Then I simply stamped and punched the cupcake images from the Create A Cupcake stamp set. Next I finished the tag off by adding a little Real Red ribbon and tying a small bow using Pool Party Baker’s Twine.

You’re Lovely

» 6 February, 2014 » Cards, Clean & Simple » 0 comments

This is a pocket card made using the You’re Lovely stamp set.  It also showcases the Watercolor Wonder DSP.

You're Lovely

To make the pocket card simply cut your card base 4 1/4” x 11”.  Then score at 1” and 5 1/2”.   Add DSP of your choice to the bottom of the card, and fold on the score lines to finish the card base. Finish it off by tieing some pretty ribbon around the small folded section at the top.

You're Lovely pocket

Here is what it looks like with the pocket pulled out.  All that’s left now is adding a little message, and it’s ready to go in the mail!

Banner Blast

» 4 February, 2014 » Cards, Clean & Simple » 0 comments

Today I’m showing you a cute card made using the Banner Blast stamp set offered during Sale-a-bration.  I also used the coordinating punch that is being offered.

Banner Blast

This card came together pretty quickly. I simply stamped each banner design that I wanted to use on a small scrap piece of Whisper White, and then used the banner punch to punch them out.  I also used the banner punch to cut the banner shape on the ends of the Silver Glimmer Paper.

Banner Blast Up Close

It’s a little difficult to see in the picture but I created a polka dot background on the black layer to replicate the cute pattern on the banner. I simply stamped all over using the eraser end of a pencil and dipping it in Versamark.  Then I embossed it in clear embossing powder.

So you may be wondering how you can get this awesome set or punch. All you have to do is place a $50 order and you can pick from a selection of several stamp sets and accessories FREE! How awesome is that!

See Ya Later

See ya later birthday

This card was made using the See Ya Later stamp set, which is one of the free sets you can choose with every $50 of merchandise you order.

The background is embossed with the dots embossing folder on Pool Party Core’dinations Card Stock. Then I used a sanding block to distress the dots.  The DSP used on the flag piece is another free option during Sale-a-bration.  It’s called Sweet Sorbet. I finished the card off by adding a little zigzag stitching and a small rhinestone.

Right now this set is my favorite set offered for Sale-a-bration. Let me know what sab item is your favorite in the comments.

Sending Good Thoughts

» 22 January, 2014 » Cards, Clean & Simple » 0 comments

Sending Good ThoughtsToday I have a super quick card to show you. The best part is that it really doesn’t use very many supplies so it’s great for beginners that don’t have a large stash to pull from just yet.

The main stamp sets I used for this card are Happy Watercolor and Perfect Pennants.  I love the watercolor stamp because it looks like I spent time coloring the background, when in reality all I did was stamp the image twice.

For the water coloring I stamped the watercolor image in So Saffron, and then I stamped above it again without reinking the stamp so that in would be even lighter (Giving it an ombré effect).

I added a small flower punch, some bling, and washi tape to finish the card.

Sending Good Thoughts insideDon’t forget to add a little to the inside to give it a special finishing touch.

The flower images used are from the Simple Stems stamp set.  I also used Watercolor Wonder Washi Tape and Gold Sequin Trim.  It’s hard to tell in the photo above, but I embossed the greeting “friend” in gold on the solid gold washi tape.  The greeting is from the stamp set called Fabulous  Phrases.

Welcome to the Monday Montage Blog Hop.

Today I have a quick card to share with you.  I wasn’t able to get a very good picture, so it really doesn’t show just how pretty the embossing is.

With Sympathy

I used the Apothecary Art stamp set, and then I embossed it in gold embossing powder.  It was cut using the Label Framelits.  Then I water colored the flowers in Bermuda Bay and Rich Razzleberry. The “With Sympathy” is from the stamp set called Loving Thoughts.

Thanks for joining me, now be sure to continue on the hop by clicking back or next.

monday montage

Thanks for checking in on the Monday Montage Blog Hop.

I’m really in the Christmas spirit these days.  I’ve started listening to Christmas music and watching all the great Christmas movies that are starting  to appear on tv.  So of course, my stamping projects are Christmas themed.  I spent the weekend at a crafting retreat and decided to make a variety of cards using the Endless Wishes photopolymer set.  Here are some of the cards I created.

Bermuda Bay Endless Wishes

This card is stamped in Bermuda Bay, Strawberry Slush, and Coastal Cabana. I also added a little piercing under the greeting, and of course I had to add some splatters from Gorgeous Grunge.

Simple Endless Wishes

This is a clean and simple card I created with Smoky Slate, Island Indigo, and Pool Party.  Then I just added a small strip of  Winter Frost DSP.  I think it would also be really cute to add some Island  Indigo Baker’s Twine to the card as well.

Gold Embossed Endless WishesFor this card, I stamped the images in Versamark and embossed them in gold embossing powder.  I also used Gorgeous Grunge to add some splatters above the greeting.  I really like this card, but if I were to it again I would probably stamp the creating on the card base so that it is easier to see.

I hope you have enjoyed these cards. Don’t forget to click back or next to check out the awesome projects these other talented ladies have to share with you.
