Today I’m sharing a really simple candy holder that is made using the two tags die.  I also used the holiday catalog hostess set Mixed Medley.  You can get this set free when you place a $150 online order or by hosting a workshop with me.

Check back in a few days for a video tutorial to see how to make this project.

12 Days of Christmas in August: Day 8 Ornament Keepsakes Christmas Tags

» 30 August, 2012 » 3-D Projects, Big Shot, Christmas » 915 comments

I made these gift tags using the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set and the Holiday Ornaments Framelits.

I stamped the ornaments in Old Olive and Real Red, and then I cut the ornaments using the framelits.  I added some White Baker’s Twine to the tags.

I created a topper, placed the tags in a medium cello bag and placed the topper on the cello bag.

12 Days of Christmas: Day 6 Holiday Catalog Ornament

» 27 August, 2012 » 3-D Projects, Big Shot, Christmas, Video Tutorials » 0 comments

Today I’m sharing my take on the holiday ornament on the front cover of the Holiday Catalog. I used the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set and the Holiday Ornaments Framelits. Instead of using Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive like the cover, I chose to use Baja Breeze and Early Espresso. These are my favorite colors. I wear a lot of chocolate and aqua clothes & my room is decorated in these colors. Needless to say, there was no question about what colors I wanted to use to make this ornament.

Blooming with Kindness

» 23 July, 2012 » Big Shot, Birthday, Cards, Clean & Simple » 0 comments

My card today is one of the cards we will be making at my monthly card class in August. It uses the stamp set Blooming with Kindness.  When I first saw this set in the catalog, I’ll be honest, I wasn’t thrilled with it.  Of course, as soon as I started browsing Stampin’ Connection (an exclusive site for Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators), I fell in love with it.  I embossed the midnight muse card stock with Perfect Polka Dots Folder, and the Very Vanilla cardstock was run through the Big Shot using the Oval Accents Die.
