12 Days of Christmas: Day 10 My Digital Studio Christmas Tags

» 4 September, 2012 » 3-D Projects, Christmas, My Digital Studio » 4,295 comments

12 Days of Christmas is going by so quickly.  I can’t believe we are already on Day 10! Today I wanted to show you how to make some very cute and simple gift tags using MDS2.  I used the source link Snow Festival DSP Download (paper 2).  Immediately when I saw this sheet of paper, I knew it would be perfect for making some quick tags.  I opened a new document selected this paper.  Then I added the source flag punch to most of the squares that don’t already have a journaling box.  Next I added the to/from stamp from enter site A Cute Christmas stamp brush download.  Then you just print the page and cut the tags apart.  The four squares that don’t have a to/from stamped will be stamped on the back.  They were to large to add the stamping on the front.

12 Days of Christmas in August: Day 8 Ornament Keepsakes Christmas Tags

» 30 August, 2012 » 3-D Projects, Big Shot, Christmas » 915 comments

I made these gift tags using the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set and the Holiday Ornaments Framelits.

I stamped the ornaments in Old Olive and Real Red, and then I cut the ornaments using the framelits.  I added some White Baker’s Twine to the tags.

I created a topper, placed the tags in a medium cello bag and placed the topper on the cello bag.

12 Days of Christmas: Day 6 Holiday Catalog Ornament

» 27 August, 2012 » 3-D Projects, Big Shot, Christmas, Video Tutorials » 0 comments

Today I’m sharing my take on the holiday ornament on the front cover of the Holiday Catalog. I used the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set and the Holiday Ornaments Framelits. Instead of using Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive like the cover, I chose to use Baja Breeze and Early Espresso. These are my favorite colors. I wear a lot of chocolate and aqua clothes & my room is decorated in these colors. Needless to say, there was no question about what colors I wanted to use to make this ornament.

I finally have the envelope pouch video tutorial posted as promised.  I apologize for such a long wait.  I had intended to upload it yesterday, however I was involved in an accident, so needless to say I was a bit preoccupied.  No one was injured, but my car is totaled. 🙁

12 Days of Christmas in August: Day 2

» 17 August, 2012 » 3-D Projects, Christmas » 3,883 comments

It’s day 2 of 12 Days of Christmas in August.  I’m really excited to share today’s project with you.  It’s an envelope pouch.  It’s a square envelope that is 1/4” thick to allow enough space for small gifts and candy.

I used the set Owl Occasions for the front of the envelope.  I also used the set Mixed Medley Hostess Set for the closure on the back.

The envelope is made from a 7” x 7” piece of cardstock.  I used the Diagonal Plate and Simpy Scored Tool.  I scored each side at 3” and 3 1/2” to create the envelope.  Check back early next week for the video tutorial.
